From the initiation of interaction designs as a profession back when Bruce (@asktog) published its pivotal call to arms, “It’s Time We Got Respect.” The IxDA’s history is quite inspiring for any of the new members in the community.

What is IxDA?

Interaction design (IxDA) defines the structure & performance of interactive systems. Interaction Designers try to make essential relationships between individuals and, therefore, the products & services that they use, from computers to mobile devices to appliances and beyond.

The unconditional helping, sincere nature of expanding the community is pretty much everything IxDA aims for. They aren’t a professional organization in the traditional sense: They don’t care if you call yourself an interaction designer or not. This community also extends to the employers, their sponsors, and those who make products and services for them, and with them. Back when at the beginning of the 21st century, only a Yahoo email group was formed to connect interaction designers and today they’re a global community of people who share an interest in interaction design. They’re designers, developers, academics, researchers, and so much more.

Importance and critical factors of IxDA?

With Local groups in 200 cities around the globe, IxDA members self-organize on a regular basis to connect, learn & inspire from one another. And except for the chance to attend the annual conference, you can always find them on LinkedIn, Facebook, Slack, Twitter.

From ‘nurturing the next generation of designers through our annual Student Design Charette’ to ‘connect educators and others interested in the evolution of design education via the annual Interaction Design Education Summit,’ IxDA never steps back when it needs to provide support to the community.

In support of IxDA’s mission, we come to a discussion to emerge the interest in the local area and focused on how Hexorial Studio can help,

• Provide value and visibility to the local IxDA community members and tech business of design and IxDA local activities to an illustrious audience in Rajkot to increase the approach of contributing by encouraging them to be a part of the community.

• Arrange the frequent Community Reach Program by alliances and partnerships with associations of various businesses and academic institutions. And,

• Spread the words about IxDA and Design education to build the optimal group of potential volunteers, leaders, and supporters in the region to enhance their effectiveness.
